LO MAS DIFÍCIL ES EMPEZAR.

THE HARDEST THING IS TO START.

I remember my first day at the gym, forced by my nutritionist (who had already cut out all my food on a diet of 2 meals a day, based on chicken and lettuce, zero sweets or soft drinks, rather, I couldn't eat anything), without know how to use any machine, with many self-esteem problems and more than 15 kg overweight; rather a very negative experience.

Fortunately, one day I met a coach who changed my life, his methodology was different, it was motivating and from there the gym began to be something positive and that I enjoyed, little by little the changes began to arrive, I met gym mates and now I had a fixed position in the front row of the classes that I liked the most, I began to become aware of taking care of myself and I saw the results, and I also felt incredible.

The night before my first half marathon (2012)

We put together a group, and we began to train in addition to the gym on the outside, we went jogging on Sundays, we attended races and it became part of my life, many people start and stay on the road, because adopting these habits is difficult and it takes a lot of persistence and motivation.

I made a top 5 tips that can help you if you want to start with this story, remember that

The important thing is to achieve big changes from small adaptations,

This is not built overnight, I have been in my process for about 7 years and I consider that I am just beginning, so if you expect rapid changes I recommend you think twice.

1. Set real goals that you can achieve in the short term: it is better to have a long process of small achievements than extreme changes that involve many prohibitions

2. Make changes gradually: to run you have to start by crawling, one step at a time.

3. That your new habits adapt to your lifestyle and not vice versa.

4. There is nothing you are forced to do and there can be nothing prohibited either: the key is to learn to balance.

5. Variety is the pleasure: do not fall into the routine, always have fun and you will see the difference.

These small but very useful recommendations are very important when it comes to getting started, this is about enjoying it and you will see how it becomes a habit.
